The Castle Museum of Saginaw County History is bringing back the highly requested “Stories of Saginaw’s Silver Screens: Saginaw County Movie Theaters” exhibit starting at the end of April 2021.

Immerse yourself in over 60 years of movie theater history, including rare materials and the “Scott Seaburger Movie Poster Collection.” Explore the stories of “Saginaw's Silver Screens” with history of the numerous theaters in Saginaw County, as well as some of the famous films that have been screened in them.

“The stories of Saginaw County’s movie theaters often rivaled the magic on the screen. In fact, a couple of the theaters sometimes upstaged the movies being shown,” said Tom Trombley, Chief Historian at the Castle Museum.

This exhibit will be at the Castle Museum through the Fall of 2021 and can be viewed seven days a week. Continue to visit the Museums Facebook page and website where they will delve even farther into the history of certain artifacts as well as update you on new exhibitions and exciting events coming in the near future.
