Fifth Third Bank Gives $300,000 Donation to Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History
The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History is pleased to accept a generous donation of 300,000 during a Check Presentation from Fifth Third Bank Leaders on March 29, 2022.
Fifth Third Bank Regional President of Eastern Michigan David Girodat along with Jason Paulateer, Market Manager-North Region, Community Development and Social Responsibility, Fifth Third Bank & Community & Economic Development Manager, Fifth Third Bank, Tawnya Rose presented The Wright’s Museum President Neil A. Barclay with this significant donation to be used in the Museum’s Public Programs.
These programs will focus on Youth & Family programming which includes, The Wright’s Camp Africa summer program from ages 7 thru 12. “We’re ecstatic to receive such a generous gift that helps with the mission of educating children in the community.” said Barclay.
These funds will also help support youth educational programming during this year’s Museum’s Annual African World Festival. Presented by The Charles H. Wright Museum which takes place at Hart Plaza from July 15th thru July 17th.
