The Bells Will Ring in Lapeer for Upcoming Handbell Concert

The bells will ring in The PIX’s final show of the season. The Center for the Arts of Greater Lapeer is proud to host Classical Bells at The PIX, 7:30 p.m. on April 30.

Classical Bells returns to The PIX with a whole different kind of handbell concert. According to their representative, Classical Bells is “noted for bringing music to life with their unique interpretative style, a technique they call "Ringing in Color"™ each show features musical selections in a wide variety of genres - classical, jazz, inspirational, even ragtime and swing.”

Led by artistic director, Darlene Ebersole, this group of seasoned professionals has performed in concerts nationwide and has appeared as the featured performers with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Michigan Opera Theater.

This wide-ranging programming, combined with sensitive musical interpretation, technical skill, informal choreography, and a dash of humor, gives Classical Bells the well-deserved reputation of "Michigan's Premier Handbell Ensemble".

Advance tickets for Classical Bells are $18 for adults, $16 for students and seniors. Tickets are available by calling 810-664-4824, by visiting CenterfortheArtsLapeer.org or by visiting the box office in Gallery 194. The Gallery is located at 194 W.
