Wharton Center to Require Proof of Vaccination or Negative COVID-19 Test
Michigan State University announced today that it will begin requiring proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test for athletic, music, art, and theatre events on campus. The updated policy will be in place for the upcoming performances of CATS at Wharton Center Jan 4-9.
As of January 1, 2022, Wharton Center will require patrons, ages 12 and older, to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event. MSU students, faculty and staff may show their university id to show they are compliant. Patrons ages 11 and under are not required to be vaccinated or tested, however they must be accompanied by an adult who meets the above requirements. Patrons who cannot provide the required information will not be allowed to enter the venue.
All visitors entering Wharton Center must wear a mask for the duration of their visit regardless of vaccination status.
