‘It’s Good To See Her, Isn’t It!’ Kristin Chenoweth Comes to Wharton Center

Emmy and Tony Award-winning powerhouse singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth is coming back to Wharton Center’s Cobb Great Hall on Saturday, November 20, for what promises to be an amazing night of songs from her seventh album, For The Girls. Tickets are on sale now at the official source to purchase Wharton Center tickets online, whartoncenter.com, at the Auto-Owners Insurance Ticket Office, or by calling 1-800-WHARTON.

For The Girls is a heartfelt tribute to the great female singers throughout history, particularly some of Kristin’s heroes and friends. The album features direction from Richard Jay-Alexander, music direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell, and producing from Steve Tyrell.

Kristin said, “I really wanted to pay homage to all the women singers who have influenced me over the years. I wanted to make something that men could also enjoy, but this is by the girls and for the girls. I wanted to make these women proud, but I also wanted to put my own stamp on it. And I think I was able to do that.”

The audience will be wowed with songs such as “The Way We Were,” “When I Fall in Love,” and “The Man That Got Away” from the beloved artists Barbra Streisand, Dolly Parton, and Judy Garland.

Chenoweth has performed to sold-out audiences across the world, including performances at Carnegie Hall and Royal Albert Hall. While celebrating the release of the album, Chenoweth played For The Girls to eight sold-out Broadway crowds.
