Outdoor Holiday Concert Along the Trails at Michigan Legacy Art Park

Michigan Legacy Art Park will present “Winter Sounds,” an outdoor holiday concert featuring Traverse City West Middle School Madrigal Singers. This family-friendly concert and singalong will take place at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 11th at the Art Park’s beautifully lighted forest amphitheater, a short ¼ mile walk from the Art Park’s trailhead entrance.

“Our Winter Sounds is back after a hiatus and we are thrilled to be welcoming residents to join us for an evening of art, music, cocoa and cider,” said Michigan Legacy Art Park’s Executive Director, Angie Quinn. “We are looking forward to a night of community and holiday cheer.”

Guests will enjoy a short winter hike to the amphitheater, bonfire, hot cocoa and cider, and an inspiring holiday choral performance by area teens. Attendees should dress for cold weather and bring blankets or camp chairs to sit on. Michigan Legacy Art Park is dedicated to environmental consciousness and encourages bringing travel mugs or your own Thermos for hot cocoa to cut down on waste. Dogs on leash are welcome to join.

A $10 suggested donation benefits Michigan Legacy Art Park and Traverse City West Middle School Madrigal Singers. Please visit https://michlegacyartpark.org/events/winter-songs/ for donations/purchase tickets.  Walk-ins are also welcome.

Due to foreseeable snowy conditions, the trails are not ADA accessible for this event. Limited parking is available at the Art Park entrance and trailhead with additional parking on Mountain Woods Drive, less than a block away
Michigan Legacy Art Park is open daily, year-round. For additional information, please visit michlegacyartpark.org or call (231) 378-4963.
